Bite Marks by Jennifer Rardin: The newest edition to the Jaz Parks series

Bite Marks

I finally got it! I went to Borders the day after it released to buy it and they didn't have it. I was shocked! Luckily I found it at the library because I am way too impatient to wait til they got it in. I am going to read it right now but I already know it will be great.

Night Huntress

The second series I thought of is the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. The first book in this series is
Halfway to the Grave
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father?the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership. In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner?are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

The reading order for the rest of the series is One Foot In The Grave, At Grave's End, and Destined For An Early Grave. Hopefully there will be many more to come!

Jaz Parks

There are only 2 series that i can think of off the top of my head where not only do I wish i was the heroine, but I'm also half in love with the male lead. The first is the Jaz Parks series by Jennifer Rardin. The first books in the series is
Once Bitten, Twice Shy
I'm Jaz Parks. My boss is Vayl, born in Romania in 1744. Died there too, at the hand of his vampire wife, Liliana. But that's ancient history. For the moment Vayl works for the C.I.A. doing what he does best--assassination. And I help. You could say I'm an Assistant Assassin. But then I'd have to kick your ass.Our current assignment seemed easy. Get close to a Miami plastic surgeon named Assan, a charmer with ties to terrorism that run deeper than a buried body. Find out what he's meeting with that can help him and his comrades bring America to her knees. And then close his beady little eyes forever. Why is it that nothing's ever as easy as it seems?

The reading order for the rest of the series is Another One Bites the Dust, Biting The Bullet, Bitten to Death, One More Bite, and coming soon Bite Marks. I can't wait! All I can say is keep em coming please!
